Big boy hair do

My little shaggy boy was in desperate need of a hair cut. As you can see...granted this is the morning bed head combined with it is clearly time for a hair cut.

My hairdresser who normally cuts Andrew's hair was out on maternity leave but this was a hair emergency. So, I took him to a kid's place in town and boy oh boy did they have all the fixin's to make him happy. It was truck central and tv's at every station. After he got his cut, I couldn't get him out of the store. 

I honestly can't stand how big he looks in this picture! Ugh!

Andrew's new ink!

Of course my child did not get a tattoo but in following in his Daddy's footsteps, Andrew decided he wanted to give himself some ink. My little Picasso gave himself his own tattoo, a full sleeve nonetheless. Andrew loves to color and loves to draw. For some reason, he has decided that his arm and hand serve best as a paint/marker/pen palette of colors.

This was his debut work of art! An Andrew Original!

I love being a mommy to this little boy! And believe me, he is definitely a little boy! And judging by the amount of food all over his shirt from lunch, he is DEFINITELY a little boy!

Father's Day Brunch

This year, Kyle was actually home for Father's Day. Usually, most holidays and special occasions are just "days" of the year and we celebrate on the days that Kyle actually come home. But this year, it was nice to celebrate Kyle being a daddy on the actual day. We met up Andrew's best buddy Jakob and his mommy and daddy for brunch! We ate to our heart's content! 

Kyle obviously hates pictures but this face is warranted. We are officially in the phase where going out to eat is more of a hassle than a luxury. If you have a toddler, you know what I mean! After allowing Kyle to eat, this photo was taken as I was trying to eat my meal...you can see the frustration on Kyle's face and yet the sheer satisfaction on Andrew's face...this meal ain't happening!

The boys and their daddies! Jakob was looking out on the lake but this lil guy is notorious for looking away or running away just as the perfect picture is about to be taken. He and Andrew are stinkers in crime!

Temecula Berry Company

Can I get a woot woot?? It's almost summertime baby!! As the school year draws to an end, I look forward to end of the year activities and preparing to close out for the summer. Which means: Time to catch up and spend some time with my favorite little man!

Since my first day of summer vacation, there has been something happening everyday. Literally, every day! When I think of summer, I always think about the Temecula Berry Company since they are open for a few short months in the summer time. They open right before school gets out so of course, I took Andrew to pick blueberries. Andrew loved it. For every berry he put in the bucket, he probably put 1 in his mouth. The Temecula Berry Company is one of my favorite places. It is kid friendly and it has lots to do in terms of keeping this busy little boy VERY busy!
