Andrew turns 2!

It is hard to believe that my little guy is two years old. It literally feels like just yesterday I was posting pictures from his first birthday. I have to say, I am quite proud of myself for sticking to my promise that I would not be as over the top for Andrew's 2nd birthday like I was for his  first. This was WAY low key, especially for me. In fact, I don't even think you could call it a birthday party since we invited our family and Andrew's best buddy over for football. Never mind the fact that the following day was my first day of school.

I had plenty of food because we all know that us Wallace's know how to eat and certainly, so do our friends! So like many of our gatherings with friends, the boys went upstairs to watch football and the girls were with the kids. Andrew officially has set the standard for his arrival to his birthday parties. Even though his guests had arrived, Andrew likes to be fashionably late to his own party by sleeping well past the start time. It cracks me up that every year, he is at least an hour tardy to his party, especially considering I plan these events around his nap time. Maybe he can sense the excitement and decides to take the longest naps...ever!

The party was a hit and Andrew was very well spoiled with TONS of new trucks and toys. All of the boys that were there loved helping him open his presents and he was so sweet to sit in my lap and watch them. The first present he opened of course, was a truck that kept him occupied throughout most of the gift opening. This little boy is obsessed with trucks. Point for party goer #1!

To further emphasize how less stressed I was this year, I completely forgot to take pictures. Who does that? Thankfully Pa Pa Bill managed to get a few so you can see how adorable our little 2 year old birthday boy is.

My little Dallas Fan!

His buddies even helped him blow it his candle. But don't you worry, he still has a death grip on his new truck!

They all sat on a bar stool and devoured his cake. It was so cute!

Happy birthday Andrew!
